Une recherche développée dans le cadre de ma thèse. Il s'agissait ici de provoquer une confrontation, capturer l'émotion vraie, l'expression authentique. J'ai donc laissé tourner la caméra sur les trottoirs de New York, puis recherché image par image le moment où l'objectif capte le regard amusé, inquiet ou vide d'un passant.

These "rough portrait" were part of my research for my thesis (Over, again.). The aim with those images was to create a confrontation, to capture true emotion, authentic expressions. I let the camera roll on the streets of New York, then, using the "freeze frame" technique, captured the moment where the camera caught the amused, worried or empty gaze of the person walking by.
