If ever I had a dream project... That was it. 
Take Michel Journiac’s most popular (and spectacular) photographic series and bring it back to life through a book and a portfolio : the reedition of the complete set. 
I also got to create the scenography when the Galerie presented the 24 Heures vintage silver prints on Paris Photo. 

I got to direct the publication Michel Journiac - Le Corps travesti, chose the authors, imagine the layout, search through the archives to find the perfect documents... As a result, you get a spectacular book with texts by Paul Preciado, Vincent Labaume, Manuel Segade, Émilie Notéris and Stéphane Marti. 
The book was published by Galerie Christophe Gaillard in 2018, and is distributed by Les Presses du réel and Idea Books. 

PORTFOLIO

This is the only complete set to exist: 
24 “Realities”, 18 “Fantasies”, put together in 2 beautiful boxes realized by Laurel Parker book.  I designed the boxes using the book’s visual identity creating a typographical harmony throughout the whole project.
