Une fille sans personne is a wonderful text written by the talented Carine Lacroix.
We had met a couple of years earlier during the creation of Un Jour St-Tropez, but didn’t get a chance to collaborate then. Still, we kept in touch and after designing her website, she asked me if I could have a look at this text she’d written, she was thinking of staging it and needed someone to bounce ideas with and I was glad to do it.
I ended up designing the performance’s presentation booklet and edited a short demo to introduce the project.
Iris is in jail and finds her freedom in a writing workshop led by Camille. Camille is “on the outside” but freedom, often enough, has little to do with the walls that surround you.
